Does AccessPoint™ replace my smart lock?

No. AccessPoint™ is an access controller designed for entrance control systems. It does not physically lock the door by itself and normally works alongside compatible locking hardware such as a maglock or electric strike.

Can I control it remotely?

Yes, when paired with a compatible TTLock Smart Gateway.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. AccessPoint™ is IP67 weather-rated when installed correctly.

Is professional installation required?

Professional installation is strongly recommended for commercial, hotel, HMO and multi-occupancy properties.

What else do I need?

Most installations require compatible locking hardware, a power supply, exit button, emergency release/break glass unit, door contacts and suitable cabling. The exact setup depends on your door and building requirements.
