Refund policy

 

Thank you for shopping with ArdanShield. We strive to provide you with high-quality products, but we understand that issues can sometimes arise. This policy outlines our procedures for returns and refunds.

 

1. Returns and Exchanges

ArdanShield offers a voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return window from delivery. This is in addition to your statutory rights. The conditions below apply to this voluntary policy and do not restrict statutory cancellation rights or remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods:

• Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a saleable condition.

 

2. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

• To request a voluntary change-of-mind return, contact info@ardanshield.com within 30 days of delivery. Please provide your order number. You do not need to give a reason when exercising a statutory cancellation right.
• We will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and specific instructions for returning your item(s).
• Securely package your item(s) and include the RMA number inside the package.

 

3. Return Shipping Costs

• For customers within the UK, we will provide a prepaid return label for returns initiated due to defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
• For change-of-mind returns within the UK, you are responsible for the return postage, except where applicable law requires us to cover it. This does not affect your statutory rights.
• For voluntary change-of-mind returns from outside the UK, you will be responsible for return shipping costs. This does not limit your rights for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

4. Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 14 days.

For eligible online cancellations, refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving proof of return, whichever is earlier.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we refund the standard outbound delivery charge. Any additional amount paid for an upgraded delivery service is not included. This does not limit remedies for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods.

 

5. Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item for the same item in a different size or colour, please follow the return process outlined above and indicate your wish to exchange in your return request. We will send you the replacement item once we have received and inspected the original item.

 

6. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or is defective, please contact us as soon as possible at info@ardanshield.com We will arrange for a replacement or a refund as necessary.

 

7. Statutory Cancellation Rights

For qualifying consumer distance purchases, you can tell us within 14 days of receiving the goods that you wish to cancel. You then have another 14 days to return them. Contact info@ardanshield.com to notify us. You may handle the goods as you would in a shop; handling beyond what is needed to inspect them may affect the refund. Our voluntary 30-day return window above is additional to these statutory rights.
